Refund Policy

Subscriptions (Samurai & Shōgun)
- Cancel anytime from Account Settings → Manage billing & cancel (Stripe Customer Portal).
- After canceling, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. No further charges are made.
- We do not offer partial-month refunds for unused time, except where required by law.
- Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
Tennō 1-on-1 sessions
- Each purchase is for one scheduled live session with a teacher.
- Reschedule at least 24 hours before your session via the booking calendar or by emailing support.
- No-shows without 24-hour notice are not refundable.
- If we cancel a session, you receive a full refund or free reschedule.
Billing issues
Duplicate charges or technical errors: contact info@funlearningjapanese.com within 14 days with your receipt email from Stripe.
Free tier
The Nōmin (free) tier requires no payment and has no refunds applicable.
